Gang;
I just got off the phone with our Double Up Outfitter, John “The Great But Propaneless” Gould, who advises that the current percentages of our groups motor coaching to the Mo are as follows:
1. Group One: 100%
2. Group Two: 80%
3. Group Three 50%
The reality of it all, and, hence, the declining percentages above, is the variable of this year’s runoff. With now still cold(er)-than-average evenings, the result is that the massive snowmelt runoff is yet being stalled in the upper climes. By way of example, the mountains above our would-be targeted E-14 Bitterroot River are still holding water at 190% of 20 year mean average, making that river yet both unsafe and unfishable (due to poor water clarity) for our Group One’s passage; hence, Ones, it is “To The Mo We Go!”
Standby Twos and Threes, as I will update you just as soon as there is more to report!
Mo to follow!!
Best to all on the near eve of it all,
Rock Creek Ron
